STRONGER TOGETHER
The Export Certification Workgroup increases collaboration between officials involved in export certification activities across federal, state, and county cooperators. The workgroup reviews changes to functionality within WCIT/PExD/eCert, discusses issues related to quality control and reporting efforts, and reviews export certification manual updates, policy changes or export issues that have been identified. The Strengthening and Supporting the US Export Program initiative identified opportunities to improve the Export Certification Workgroup including creation of a charter and increased solicitation of topics for discussion from the Export Certification Workgroup members. This effort provided an increased understanding of the Export Certification Workgroup goals by the members and others, improved communication, and provided a renewed commitment to working together to strengthen and support the US Export Program.
